Terms of use
Last updated: 26/09/2026
These terms govern your use of the Milkanna app and milkanna.com (“Milkanna”). By creating an account you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
1. What Milkanna is
Milkanna is a record-keeping and discovery tool for independent milkmen and the households they deliver to. Milkanna does not sell or deliver milk, is not a party to the arrangement between a milkman and a customer, and does not process, hold or guarantee payments.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and use an Indian mobile number you control.
- Keep your phone and one-time codes private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. For customers
- Your milkman’s records of each day’s delivery are shown to you as they are made. Deliveries count as delivered unless the milkman marks otherwise; raise a dispute in the app if a record is wrong.
- You can skip a delivery, change its quantity or order an extra until your milkman’s deadline for it: one hour before his round starts, unless he asks for more notice (three hours before, or 9 pm the night before). The app shows the exact time for every delivery.
- Bills are generated from these records every month. You pay your milkman directly by UPI or cash. Reporting a payment in the app, with its UTR, is evidence only: it counts as paid once your milkman confirms it.
4. For milkmen: seller agreement
If you list yourself as a milkman, you also accept this seller agreement:
- You are an independent seller. You alone are responsible for the quality, safety and hygiene of the milk you supply, for any food-safety (FSSAI) registration or licence you need, for your prices and taxes, and for making the deliveries you accept.
- Everything in your profile (business name, locality, milk types, prices and photo) must be true and kept current.
- Record deliveries honestly: never mark milk as delivered that was not delivered.
- Confirm only payments you actually received, and record cash you collect.
- Treat customers fairly, respond to their complaints and cooperate with our grievance process. Comply with consumer-protection and other applicable laws.
- We may hide or delist a profile that is incomplete, inaccurate or the subject of credible complaints.
5. Payments
Payments happen outside Milkanna, in UPI apps run by others or in cash. We are not responsible for failed, delayed or mistaken transfers; check that the payee name in your UPI app matches your milkman before you pay.
6. Ratings and content
Ratings must reflect your own real experience. Do not post abusive, false or promotional content, or other people’s personal data. We may hide content that breaks these rules; anyone can report content from the app.
7. Acceptable use
Do not create fake accounts, impersonate others, harass anyone, attempt fraud, scrape the service, interfere with its security, or use it for anything unlawful.
8. Fees
Milkanna is currently free. We will give notice in the app before introducing any fee.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep Milkanna available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Milkanna is not liable for the milk supplied, for disputes between milkmen and customers (though we will help with the records), or for indirect losses.
10. Suspension and ending
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. Ledger records are kept as described in the privacy policy.
11. Law and grievances
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Complaints go to our Grievance Officer (Grievance Officer, Polsiva Pvt Ltd, [email protected], +91 76808 13829), who acknowledges them within 24 hours and resolves them within 7 days. See the grievance page. Milkanna is operated by Polsiva Pvt Ltd, Plot No 1, Mokshit Marvel, Patelguda (near Praneeth Pranav Homes), Ameenapur, Hyderabad, Sangareddy District, Telangana 502032.
12. Changes
We will tell you in the app before a material change to these terms takes effect.
